Common Questions

How are you different from a regular trainer at a gym?

With 20 years experience, I can customize a program that suits your goals, needs and time constaints.

One-on-one sessions are designed to build up your motivation, self esteem and drive to succeed. Specific workout homework is prescribed, and the accountability will keep you on track.

Your workouts will never be the same, so expect to learn new ways of keeping fit through a variety of exercise modalities.

I guarantee you'll feel better, look better and weigh less. And you won't be bored.

What if I don't have any fitness equipment?

No equipment necessary! I promise you, I can make anyone work up a great sweat with zero equipment!

However, I am able to bring a variety of mobile fitness equipment (see equipment suggestion below) to make sure you get a feel good workout.

What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?

If you are looking to outfit yourself with some portable, versatile, inexpensive fitness equipment, I recommend these items:

  • Stability Ball

  • Medicine Ball

  • Mat

  • Bosu Ball

For more advanced exercisers:

  • TRX Suspension Straps

  • Lebert System

  • Stepper/Plyometric Boxes

How far do you travel

I will travel 25 miles from zip code 16117.

Additional charges may apply beyond this area.

How long is a session? What can I expect?

During your first free fitness consultation, we establish goals and assess baselines. We will test:

  • your cardiovascular endurance

  • your muscular strength

  • your balance

  • your flexibility

  • your coordination

You can expect customized workout homework, accountability texts/phone calls/emails and general nutritional counseling.
